Transforming an Outdated Home: Danielle and Jeremy's Dream Kitchen and Bath Renovation with Floor to Ceiling Cabinets, a Dreamy Wine Bar, and a Shower Big Enough for Two

From Cramped to Spacious: Floor-to-Ceiling Cabinets, a Wonderful Wine Bar, and a Shower Built for Two

Danielle and Jeremy’s home had tons of space, but it was chopped up, poorly used, and completely outdated, making their generous house feel small. They were ready to do whatever it would take to create their dream kitchen complete with a full pantry plus wine and coffee bar, as well as a primary bath with a massive shower.

  • Envision the Transformation with 3D Renderings

Since solving this kitchen and wine bar design challenge would require taking out a couple of walls, my job was to use my 3D rendering skills to help them envision what the new kitchen and bath could look like. This project is a great example of the collaboration that can happen between a designer and homeowner - I helped them see what was possible with the kitchen and bath layouts so they could enjoy the “fun part” of choosing the beautiful colors and finishes that would make the new kitchen and bath feel like home.

  • Eclectic Style and Functional Design

I love the mix of classic color with the Sputnik light fixtures - it’s an eclectic style that will delight them for years and be easy to update should they ever want to shift to a more traditional, or a more minimalist, style. The navy blue kitchen island adds freshness to the warm wood of the dining table and wine bar shelves.

  • A Luxurious and Organized Master Bath

And let’s not forget all that cabinetry and storage in the master bath! The double vanity has three linen and storage towers and lots of drawer storage, and the generous 2-person shower also has lots of storage in the triple shampoo niche and corner benches. Who wouldn’t want to start their day in a well-organized spa bath like this?

  • Unlocking Potential with 3D Renderings

Just because a space is poorly laid out doesn’t mean it can’t be fixed! If you have an awkward layout with lots of poorly used space, the unlimited full-color 3D renderings and unlimited revisions included in my design process might be just the thing you need to imagine the possibilities.
